Today I got to shoot two great people who has been living with one another for over 18 years and now they finally took the plunge!!! Maureen & John came to Aruba for their dream wedding, it all happened at the Radisson Resort and in the hands of Lisa, isn't that cool or what???? Well just a little teaser for you all!

Meet Mr. Aruhiba

On an assignment I got shoot a great character by the name of Benjamin Petrochi.  He is well known to the island for his hand made and locally grown cigars under the name Aruhiba!  I got the tour of the place where he has his plantation and it was cool to learn the trick and trades about cigars. Not all details but just what I needed to know!

Mr. Aruhiba also work with his sisters to run the place.  If you are a cigar lover, you have to go by his place and check it out! He has cigar flavors and sizes for everyone's needs! 

This how it was shot! 1 580exii  @ 1/2 power reflective umbrella and 1 580exii @ 1/4 power for background.  Camera setting 1/30sec @ f/7.1 ISO 200.

Tuesday Coffee

Lately, every Tuesday my brother and I go out for some coffee.  We always hit the same spot every Tuesday! Coffee 4 U! I like the place, we just go there order us coffee and chat about what is going on.

Nature

Today was a different day for me!  After one week from being under the knife, I decided to go for a small walk around the neighborhood.  Needed the exercise!  Got some great models today too! No the are people this time, I really enjoy nature and Aruba lately is very beautiful after the rain we've been getting. Well here we go!

Couple of days ago I was testing some lighting at home.  Well I have my oldest son as model. Then I got my little one too!!

Here is the diagram how it was shot.  Kept it very simple, 1 580exii @ full power triggered by pocket wizards. Black background was used.

This one a little different. 2 580exii one in soft box 1/2 power above and one in an Orbis ring light @ full power. Black background used.

Both of these where at 1/125 @ f/11 ISO 100

Alicia & Paul

Not too long ago I got to shoot a very cool couple! They are Alicia & Paul.  Alicia was at the time expecting her first baby! So we mixed things up just a tad.  Here we go!

 Paul was a sport when it got to shoot his solos, I was busting his chops for practicing before for the shoot. So not true! hehehehe
